Planting Churches is an overflow desire of Christ Jesus to see lives transformed by the Gospel by saving and reaching the lost souls.

Christ Gospel Ministries mission model and pattern is to start exists to establish a community of gospel-centered followers of Jesus Christ.

In the late 1980’s, Louis Bush coined the phrase, “the 10/40 Window”. The 10/40 Window is an area of the world that contains the largest population of non-Christians in the world. The area extends from 10 degrees to 40 degrees North of the equator, and stretches from North Africa across to China.

There are many reasons why Christians should be focusing their prayers, sending their best missionaries, and giving their funds to this area of the world. The great commission says:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19)

95% of the unreached people groups of the world live in the 10/40 Window. (An “unreached people group” is a segment of the population to which because of too few missionaries, the Gospel cannot spread along natural lines without encountering barriers of understanding, language, social hierarchy, politics, culture, history, geography, prejudice, etc. They have no community of Christians able to lead them to salvation or sometimes even to a slight knowledge of Jesus Christ).

• More than 4.1 billion of the world’s 5.6 billion people live here.
• Including 87 percent of the worlds poorest of the poor.
• It is estimated that 1.6 billion of these unreached people have never had the chance to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ - not even once!
• Most of these nations are closed to western missionaries.
• Only 20% of all mission work takes place in the 10/40 window.

Facts about the 10/40 window:

• 9 of the top 10 worst countries in terms of persecution.
• Witnessing the Christian Gospel means death in many of the 65 countries represented.
• It is the darkest and most inhospitable territory to the cause of Christ and represents the greatest remaining stronghold of Satan.
• More than 1.3 Billion people under the influence of Communism.
• It contains over 70% of the world’s people, but only 9% of the missionaries laboring.
• Less than 1/2 of 1% of the budget of our churches goes to reach the 10/40 window.
• As we can see, only 20% of the mission activity in the world is directed toward 97% of the least evangelized countries on the earth.
